Yesterday, I went to see the India- Australia cricket match.	ನಿನ್ನೆ, ನಾನು ಇಂಡಿಯಾ-ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ಅನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆ.
Wow! How was your experience?	ವಾವ್! ನಿನ್ನ ಅನುಭವ ಹೇಗಿತ್ತು?
Awesome! The stadium was packed with spectators.	ಅತ್ಯದ್ಭುತ! ಸ್ಟೇಡಿಯಂ ವೀಕ್ಷಕರಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಹೋಗಿತ್ತು.
They were cheering the players.	ಅವರು ಆಟಗಾರರ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
I was also cheering for Dhoni when he was hitting boundaries	ನಾನೂ ಸಹ ಧೋನಿಗೆ ಆತ ಬೌಂಡರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ.
The drummer was playing drums on every run in the last over and the audience was dancing	ಡ್ರಮ್ಮರ್ ಕೊನೆಯ ಓವರ್‍‍ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ರನ್‍ಗೂ ಡ್ರಮ್ ಭಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು ಕುಣಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
Some Australians were sitting next to me.	ಕೆಲವು ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾದವರು ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದರು.
They were feeling nervous when India was chasing the target.	ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹತಾಶರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
India won the match in the end.	ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಡಿಯ ಪಂದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿತು.
Was there something you did not like?	ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಇಷ್ಟ ಪಡದೇ ಇರುವಂತಹದ್ದೇನಾದರೂ ನಡೆಯಿತೇ?
Yes, I did not like some people who were  littering around.	ಹೌದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಜನರು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲೂ ಕಸವನ್ನು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದು ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Also, the food at the stalls was being sold at very high rates.	ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಸ್ಟಾಲ್‍ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹಾರ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದುಬಾರಿ ಬೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
Didn’t you watch this match, Riya?	ರಿಯಾ, ನೀನು ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?

Past Continuous Tense	Past Continuous Tense
The Past Continuous is used to talk about an action  going on in the past.	Past Continuous Tense  ಅನ್ನು ಭೂತಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
For example, if someone asks you what you were doing yesterday, then you will answer using Past Continuous Tense	ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ, ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನೆ ಏನನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ, ಆಗ ನೀವು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ Past Continuous Tense ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಿ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
It is not necessary to mention the time of action here.	ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
