Where do you work?	ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ?
I work at ‘City Hospital’.	ನಾನು 'ಸಿಟಿ ಹಾಸ್ಪಿಟಲ್' ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

There is a large canteen on the ground floor.	ಗ್ರೌಂಡ್ ಫ್ಲೋರ್‍‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾದ ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೀನ್ ಇದೆ.

UNDERSTANDING CONCEPTS	ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು
‘There is’, ‘there are’ and  ‘It has’ are the positive words in Present Tense.	‘There is’, ‘there are’ ಮತ್ತು ‘It has’ ಗಳು ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಪದಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
It is used to refer to only one object .	ಇದನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ವಸ್ತುವನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲು ಇದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
It is used with singulars (only one) only.	ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಏಕವಚನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ
It is used to refer to two or more objects.	ಇದನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಅಥವಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
It is used with plurals only.	ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಬಹುವಚನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
It is used to talk about something which we have introduced earlier	ಮೊದಲೇ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುವಂತಹ ಯಾವುದಾದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಇದನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
It is used with both singulars and plurals.	ಇದನ್ನು ಏಕವಚನ ಮತ್ತು ಬಹುವಚನಗಳೆರಡರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

There is a house.	ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮನೆ ಇದೆ.
There are many houses.	ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಮನೆಗಳಿವೆ.
This is my house. It has many rooms. It has a garden.	ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆ. ಇದು ಹಲವು ಕೋಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಇದು ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.
There is a book.	ಇದು ಒಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕ.
There are five books.	ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳಿವೆ.
This is a story book. It has many  interesting stories.	ಇದು ಒಂದು ಕತೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಕುತೂಹಲಭರಿತ ಕತೆಗಳಿವೆ.
