अँग्रेज़ी व्याकरण मे प्रिपोज़िशन एक शब्द है जो संज्ञा या सर्वनाम से पहले आता है और एक शब्द को दूसरे शब्द से जोड़ता है.

प्रिपोज़िशन ऑफ टाइम - Prepositions of time

प्रिपोज़िशन्स ऑफ टाइम का प्रयोग किसी कार्य के होने का समय बताने के लए किया जाता है.

आमतौर पर प्रयोग किए जाने वाले प्रिपोज़िशन्स ऑफ टाइम In, at, on है.

Use of in, at, on/ in, at, on का प्रयोग

In का प्रयोग/ Use of in

हम ‘in’ का प्रयोग:

महीनों के लिए (in April, in the month of May),

सालो के लिए (in 2012, in 1980s),

दिन के काल के लिए (in the afternoon, in the evening and in the morning),

ऋतु के लिए (in summer, in the summer of 1987) करते है.

जब हम सुस्पष्ट समय की बात कर रहे हो तब हम ‘at’ का प्रयोग करते हैं.

याद रखें कि ‘night’ के साथ हम हमेशा ‘at’ का प्रयोग करते हैं.

जब हम किसी एक दिन या तिथि की बात कर रहे हो तब हम ‘on’ का प्रयोग करते है (on Tuesday, On June 19, on July 2 2013).

उदाहरण

The show starts at eight. कार्यक्रम आठ बजे शुरू होता है. 

My birthday is on Sunday. मेरा जन्मदिन रविवार को है. 

We play in the morning. हम सुबह खेलते हैं. 

The music concert is in June. संगीत कॉन्सर्ट जून में है.

The wedding is on March 12. शादी 12 मार्च को है.
