To ask questions using the future perfect tense.

In this lesson, we will learn

  • To make positive and negative statements using the future perfect tense.
  • To ask questions using the future perfect tense.
The Future Perfect tense talks about an action in the future that will be completed before another action or time in the future.
Subject Will Have Verb(past participle) Rest of the sentence I will have finished the homework before the teacher comes. He will have finished the homework before the teacher comes. She will have finishedthe homework before the teacher comes. Manoj will have finished the homework before the teacher comes. Sheetal will have finished the homework before the teacher comes. You will have finished the homework before the teacher comes. We will have finished the homework before the teacher comes. They will have finished the homework before the teacher comes. Manoj and I will have finished the homework before the teacher comes. Neha and Manoj will have finished the homework before the teacher comes.In these sentences, the action in the future (finish homework) will be complete before the second action (teacher comes).

Subject Will Not Have Verb(past participle) Rest of the sentence I will not have cleaned the house before the guests come. He will not have cleaned the house before the guests come. She will not havecleaned the house before the guests come. Manoj will not have cleaned the house before the guests come. Sheetal will not have cleaned the house before the guests come. You will not have cleaned the house before the guests come. We will not have cleaned the house before the guests come. They will not have cleaned the house before the guests come. Manoj and I will not have cleaned the house before the guests come. Neha and Manoj will not have cleaned the house before the guests come.In these sentences, the action in the future (clean the house) will not be complete before the second action (guests come).
We can also use ‘won’t’ in place of ‘will not’.
