Was / Were का प्रयोग

भूतकाल में सरल प्रश्न पूछने के लिए होता है जिसका जवाब “हाँ या ना” हो |

उन प्रश्नो में होता है जहाँ क्रिया (Verb) का उपयोग नही होता|

जैसे-

क्या अनु पार्टी में थी?

क्या वो तुम्हारे बॉस थे?

ध्यान दीजिए - इन प्रश्नों में कोई भी क्रिया नहीं है|

Was / Were प्रश्न प्रारूप

ये प्रश्न Was या Were से शुरू होते हैं|

Was / Were का चुनाव ‘कर्ता’ (Doer / Subject) पर निर्भर होता है|

प्रश्न – “Was” का प्रयोग करके

Was The soup /it cold? Was the soup cold? क्या सूप ठंडा हो गया था? Yes, it was. No, it wasn’t. 

Was I there? Was I there? क्या मैं वहाँ था/ थी ? Yes, you were. No, you weren’t

प्रश्न – “Were” का प्रयोग करके

Were you there? Were you there? क्या तुम वहाँ थे? Yes, I was No, I wasn’t. 

Were they happy to see you?Were they happy to see you? क्या वो तुम्हें देखकर खुश थे? Yes, they were. No, they were not.(weren’t) 

Were we very naughty? Were we very naughty? क्या हम बहुत शरारती थे? Yes, we were. No, we weren’t
