In English grammar, preposition is a word that comes before a noun or a pronoun and connects one word with the other.	ஆங்கில இலக்கணத்தில் preposition  என்பது ஒரு பெயர்ச்சொல் அல்லது ஒரு பிரதி பெயர்ச்சொல்லுக்கு முன்னர் வரும் ஓர் சொல்லாகும், மேலும் இது ஒரு சொல்லை மற்றொண்டுடன் இணைக்கிறது.
Prepositions of time	Prepositions of time
Prepositions of time is used to talk about the time when an actions happens.                                                            In, at, on are commonly used prepositions of time	செயல்கள் நிகழும் நேரத்தைப் பற்றி பேசும்போது Prepositions of time பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. In, at, on ஆகியன பொதுவாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் Prepositions of time ஆகும்.
Use of in, at, on	In, at, on இன் பயன்
Use of 'in'	in' இன் பயன்
We use ‘in’ for:	நாம் ‘in’ ஐ இவற்றுக்காகப் பயன்படுத்துகிறோம்:
Months	மாதங்கள்
Years	வருடங்கள்
Time of the day	நாளின் நேரம்
sesasons	பருவங்கள்
Use of at	'at' இன் பயன்
We use ‘at’ when we talk about precise time. (at half past ten, at nine)	துல்லியமான நேரத்தைப் பற்றி பேசும்போது, நாம் 'at' ஐப் பயன்படுத்துகிறோம். (பத்தரை மணிக்கு, ஒன்பது மணிக்கு)
Remember that  with ‘night’ we always use ‘at’.	‘Night’ உடன் நாம்  எப்பொழுதும் ‘at’ ஐப் பயன்படுத்துகிறோம் என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்க.
Use of on	'on' இன் பயன்
We use ‘on’ when we talk about a particular day or date.	ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தேதி அல்லது நாளைப் பற்றி பேசும் போது நாம் 'on' ஐப் பயன்படுத்துகிறோம்.
The show starts at eight.	நிகழ்ச்சி எட்டு மணிக்கு துவங்குகின்றது.
My birthday is on Sunday.	எனது பிறந்தநாள் ஞாயிறு அன்று வருகிறது.
We play in the morning.	நாம் காலையில் விளையாடுகிறோம்.
The music concert is in June.	இசை கன்செர்ட் ஜூனில் நடைபெறுகின்றது.
The wedding is on March 12.	திருமணம் மார்ச் 12 ஆம் தேதியன்று நடக்கிறது.
India celebrates its Independence Day on August 15.	இந்தியா தனது சுதந்திர தினத்தை ஆகஸ்ட் 15 ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடுகின்றது.
Gandhiji’s birthday is in October.	காந்தியின் பிறந்த தினம் அக்டோபரில் வருகின்றது.
I go for a walk at six in the morning.	நான் காலையில் ஆறு மணிக்கு நடைபயிற்சிக்காகச் செல்வேன்.
Painting class is on Saturday.	சனிக்கிழமை அன்று பெயிண்டிங் கிளாஸ் இருக்கும்.
I go for a walk after dinner.	இரவு உணவுக்குப் பின்னர் நான் வாக்கிங் செல்வேன்.
The dance class is in the evening.	மாலையில் நடன கிளாஸ் இருக்கும்.

The exam is on Monday.	தேர்வு திங்கட்கிழமையில் இருக்கும்.
Holi is on 27th March.	ஹோலி மார்ச் 27 ஆம் தேதியில் வருகிறது.
