Anything that can be counted is known as "Countable Noun".	अशा बाबी ज्यांची गणना (counting) करणे शक्य आहे त्यास “Countable Noun” म्हणतात.
Like:	जसे:
(Book)	(पुस्तक )
Books can be counted - 1 Book, 2 books, 3 books, 4 books...	Book मोजणे शक्य आहे - 1 Book, 2 books, 3 books , 4 books …

The thing that cannot be counted is known as "Uncountable Noun".	ज्या वस्तूची गणना (counting)  करणे शक्य नाही आहे त्यास “ Uncountable Noun” म्हणतात

Sugar cannot be counted - 1 Sugar, 2 Sugar, 3 Sugar, 4 Sugar	Sugar ची गणना करणे शक्य नसते- 1 Sugar , 2 sugar, 3 sugar, 4 sugar
