Past Tense - Usage of 'was', 'were'	भूत काळ - 'was' , 'were' चा प्रयोग
Making Positive sentences	सकारात्मक वाक्य तयार करणे
Making Negative sentences	नकारात्मक वाक्य तयार करणे
Usage of Was and Were	Was आणि Were  चा प्रयोग
Was and Were are used in the Past Tense (Past Tense)	Was आणि Were चा प्रयोग भूतकाळ (Past Tense) मध्ये होतो.
Was and were are used when we do not need to show an action (verb).	जेव्हां आपल्याला कसलीच क्रिया (Verb) नसेल दाखवायची, तेव्हां आम्ही  was , were चा वापर करतो.

He was intelligent.	तो हुशार होता
Rohan was happy to meet with me.	रोहन मला भेटून आनंदी होता.
They were ready to come with us.	ते आमच्यासोबत येण्यासाठी तयार होते.
Positive sentences (using 'was')	सकारात्मक वाक्य (was चा प्रयोग करुन)
He was late for the meeting.	त्याला मीटिंगसाठी उशीर झाला होता.
She was at the park.	ती पार्कमध्ये होती
I was very hungry.	मला खूप भुक लागली होती
It was a beautiful dress.	तो एक सुन्दर पोषाख होता

They were late for the meeting.	त्‍यांना मीटिंगसाठी उशीर झाला होता.
You were at the park.	तू पार्कमध्ये होता.

Negative Sentences (using was not)	नकारात्मक वाक्य (was not चा प्रयोग करुन)
He was not late for the meeting.	त्याला मीटिंगसाठी उशीर झाला नव्हता.
She was not at the park.	ती पार्कमध्ये नव्हती
I was not hungry.	मला भुक लागली नव्हती.
It was not a beautiful dress.	तो सुंदर  पोषाख नव्हता.
