Was Anu at the party?	अनु पार्टीत होती का?
Was he your boss?	ते तुमचे बॉस होते का?
Were you sleepy?	तुम्ही झोपेत होतात का?
Were they inside the room?	ते खोलीमध्‍ये होते का?
Past Tense : Simple questions	भूतकाळ : साधे प्रश्‍न
Using 'Was' and 'Were'	Was आणि Were चा प्रयोग करणे
Usage of Was/Were	Was / Were चा प्रयोग
Used to ask simple questions in the Past Tense with 'yes and no' as answers.	भूतकाळात साधे प्रश्न विचारण्यासाठी केला जातो असतो ज्याचे उत्तर ’होय’ किंवा ’नाही’ असते
Used in those questions where verb is not used.	त्या प्रश्नांत वापरला जातो ज्यामध्‍ये Verb वापरले जात नाही.
Like -	जसे -
Was Anu at the party?	अनु पार्टीत होती का?
Was he your boss?	ते तुमचे बॉस होते का?
Please note - there are no Verbs in these sentences.	कृपया नोंद घ्‍या -या प्रश्नांमध्ये कोणतेही क्रियापद नाही.
Was/Were Question Format	Was / Were प्रश्न स्वरूप
These questions begin with 'Was' or 'Were'.	हे प्रश्न Was किंवा Were पासून सुरु होतात
The selection of Was/Were depends on the Doer/Subject.	Was / Were ची निवड Doer / Subject वर अवलंबून असते.
Question - by using "Was"	प्रश्न – “Was” चा प्रयोग करुन
Was Meeta your friend?	मीता तुझी मैत्रिण होती?
Was Rohan with you?	रोहन तुमच्यासोबत होता का?
Was the soup cold?	सूप थंड होते का?
Was I there?	मी तिथे होतो/होते का?
Question - by using "Were"	प्रश्न – “Were” चा प्रयोग करुन
Were you there?	तुम्ही तिथे होतात का?
Were they happy to see you?	ते तुम्हाला बघून आनंदी होते का?
Were we very naughty?	आपण खूप खोडकर होतो काय?
Were you in Mumbai last week?	तुम्ही मागील आठवड्यात मुंबईला होता का?
Was Pooja with you?	पूजा तुमच्‍यासोबत होती का?
Was he a brilliant student?	तो अत्‍यंत हुशार विद्यार्थी होता का?
