Past Tense - Usage of 'was', 'were'	অতীত কাল - 'was' এবং 'were'- এর ব্যবহার
Making Positive sentences	হ্যাঁ-বাচক বাক্য গঠণ করা
Making Negative sentences	না-বাচক বাক্য গঠণ করা
Usage of Was and Were	'was' এবং 'were'- এর ব্যবহার
Was and Were are used in the Past Tense (Past Tense)	অতীত কাল (Past Tense) বোঝাতে 'was' এবং 'were' ব্যবহার করা হয়
Was and were are used when we do not need to show an action (verb).	was' এবং 'were' তখনই ব্যবহার করা হয় যখন আমাদেরকে কোন কাজ (verb) দেখাতে হয় না

He was intelligent.	তিনি বুদ্ধিমান ছিলেন।
Rohan was happy to meet with me.	আমার সঙ্গে দেখা করে রোহন খুব খুশী ছিল।
They were ready to come with us.	তাঁরা আমাদের সঙ্গে আসবেন বলে প্রস্তুত ছিলেন।
Positive sentences (using 'was')	হ্যাঁ-বাচক বাক্য ( 'was'  ব্যবহার করে)
He was late for the meeting.	মিটিংয়ের জন্য তাঁর দেরী হয়ে গেছিল।
She was at the park.	তিনি পার্কে ছিলেন।
I was very hungry.	আমি ভীষন ক্ষুধার্থ ছিলাম।
It was a beautiful dress.	এটা খুব সুন্দর পোষাক ছিল।
Postive sentences (using 'were')	হ্যাঁ-বাচক বাক্য ('were'  ব্যবহার করে)
They were late for the meeting.	মিটিংয়ের জন্য তাদের দেরী হয়ে গেছিল।
You were at the park.	আপনি পার্কে ছিলেন।
We were very hungry.	আমরা ভীষন ক্ষুধার্থ ছিলাম।
Negative Sentences (using was not)	না-বাচক বাক্য (was not ব্যবহার করে)
He was not late for the meeting.	মিটিংয়ে তাঁর দেরী হয় নি।
She was not at the park.	তিনি পার্কে ছিলেন না।
I was not hungry.	আমি ক্ষুধার্থ ছিলাম না।
It was not a beautiful dress.	এটা খুব সুন্দর পোষাক ছিল না।
