Past Tense - Regular Verbs	भूत काळ- Regular verbs
Past form of walk, talk, copy, dance, etc.	(Walk, talk, copy , dance इत्यादींचे Past form )
Usage of Simple Past Tense	Simple past tense चा प्रयोग
To talk about actions completed in the past	भूतकाळात पूर्ण झालेल्या कार्यांबद्दल बोलणे
It is not necessary to mention time over here	येथे वेळेचा उल्लेख करण्‍याची गरज नाही.
Two types of Verbs are used in the Past Tense - Regular and Irregular	भूतकाळात दोन प्रकारच्या क्रियापदांचा प्रयोग होतो – Regular आणि Irregular
Verbs that end with "d", "ed" and "ied" in their Simple Past Tense forms are known as Regular Verbs.	असे क्रियापद जे आपल्या भूतकाळाच्या रुपात “d", “ed" किंवा “ied" नीं संपते, त्यास “Regular Verb” म्हणतात.
Like	जसे:
Past form of "play" is "played". Therefore, "play" is a regular verb.	"Play" चा Past form "played" होतो म्हणून "play" regular verb आहे.

The children played cricket.	मुलं क्रिकेट खेळली होती.

She shouted.	ती ओरडली होती.
My father cooked food yesterday.	माझ्या वडीलांनी काल स्वयंपाक केला होता.
He played well.	तो चांगला खेळला होता.
Nikhil watched a film yesterday.	निखिलने काल एक फिल्म पाहिली होती.
They arrived late.	ते उशिरा आले होते.
